2022 (Senior)
Travis Vokolek played in 10 games with nine starts in 2022, missing two games due to injury. He set career highs with 20 catches, 240 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Vokolek started the season opener against Northwestern and caught a then-career-high five passes for 63 yards, including a 21-yard grab. He was injured late in the game and missed the North Dakota and Georgia Southern games due to injury. Vokolek returned to start against No. 6 Oklahoma, catching one pass against the Sooners. He had an 11-yard reception against Indiana. Vokolek caught a career-high six passes at Rutgers, finishing with 46 receiving yards. He had a 7-yard touchdown pass against the Scarlet Knights, his first touchdown as a Husker. Vokolek caught three passes for 38 yards at Purdue. Vokolek hauled in a career-long 56-yard touchdown reception against No. 17 Illinois, which entered the game with the nation's top pass defense. He had a four-yard reception against Minnesota. Vokolek added two catches for 20 yards against Wisconsin.

2021 (Junior)
Vokolek missed the first three games of the season with an injury but returned to play in the final eight games with three starts. He caught 11 passes for 127 yards.

Vokolek made his season debut at No. 3 Oklahoma, where he hauled in a career-long 38-yard pass. Vokolek had two catches for 29 yards at No. 20 Michigan State, hauling in receptions of 11 and 18 yards. Vokolek had a five-yard catch against Northwestern and added perimeter blocking for a Husker rushing attack that gained 427 yards. Vokolek had a two-yard catch at Minnesota. Against No. 6 Ohio State, He had three catches for 14 yards. He made two catches for 33 yards at No. 19 Wisconsin. In the season finale against No. 17 Iowa, Vokolek had a six-yard reception.

2020 (Covid Season)
Vokolek played in every game as a junior with four starts. He caught nine passes for 91 yards. Vokolek caught his first two passes as a Husker for 13 yards at Northwestern. He caught a 16-yard pass against Illinois for his longest grab of the season. Vokolek made his first start at Iowa and caught three passes for 31 yards, setting season highs in both categories. Vokolek also started at Purdue, catching two passes for 15 yards. He started again at Rutgers, making a 16-yard reception in the Huskers’ win over his former team.

2019 (Transfer)
Vokolek, a transfer from Rutgers,sat out the 2019 season in accordance with NCAA transfer rules. He impressed on the scout team, earning Nebraska Offensive Scout Team MVP honors.

Before Nebraska (Kickapoo HS/Rutgers)
Vokolek transferred to Nebraska in the summer of 2019 after spending his first two seasons at Rutgers. Vokolek played in 19 games in his two seasons at Rutgers, catching 17 passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns. He played in seven games as a true freshman in 2017, hauling in a 14-yard reception at Indiana. As a sophomore in 2018, Vokolek had 16 catches for 184 yards, and he caught a pair of touchdown passes. He tied for the team lead in touchdown receptions, was third in receiving yards and fourth in receptions. Vokolek had multiple catches in four of the Scarlet Knights' nine Big Ten Conference games, including a career-high five receptions against Illinois and a career-high 69 receiving yards on four catches at Michigan State.

Vokolek played his prep ball for Kickapoo High School in Missouri, where he was a three-star recruit. Vokolek was a first-team Class 6 all-state selection on defense as a senior, when he recorded 90 tackles in addition to catching 17 passes for 205 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He totaled 82 tackles as a junior, when the Chiefs made it to the state semifinals. Vokolek also played basketball and competed in track and field at Kickapoo.

PersonalTravis was born on June 4, 1998, and he is the son of D.J. and Pam Vokolek. He earned a degree in child, youth and family studies in August of 2021. Vokolek volunteered his time with the Nebraska Football Road Race and local hospital visits. 

Travis' father, D.J., served as Nebraska's senior defensive quality control coach in 2022 after previously serving as the assistant head coach at Northern Iowa, where he coached the Panther linebackers. Travis’ uncle is Terry Allen, who served as the head coach at Northern Iowa (1989-96), Kansas (1997-2001) and Missouri State (2006-14).
