2022 (Sophomore)
Timmy Bleekrode started every game at place-kicker in his first season at Nebraska. He connected on 34-of-35 on extra points with his lone miss being blocked. Bleekrode was 9-of-12 on field goals, including a streak of seven consecutive made field goals. He connected on a 46-yard field goal against North Dakota for his first field goal as a Husker. Against Oklahoma, Bleekrode filled in late at punter and had a 51-yard punt in his lone attempt. Bleekrode went three games without attempting a field goal before he made three field goals on three attempts at Purdue with a long of 43 yards. He added a 26-yard field goal against Illinois. Bleekrode made both of his field goal attempts against Minnesota. He provided Nebraska's only points at No. 3 Michigan with a 37-yard field goal. Bleekrode added a 21-yard field goal in the season-ending win at Iowa.

Before Nebraska (Marist School/Furman)
Bleekrode spent three years at Furman and was the starting punter and place-kicker in both 2020 and 2021. In his Furman career, Bleekrode was 21-of-25 on field goals, and he averaged 42.9 yards on 91 punts.

In 2021, Bleekrode went 15-of-18 on field goals (83 percent) ranking 16th in the FCS ranks in field goals and field goal percentage en route to second-team all-conference accolades. He was also 30-of-32 on PATs.  and had a career-long 51-yard field goal at Tennessee Tech. As Furman’s punter, Bleekrode averaged 42.2 yards per punt on 60 attempts. He had 11 50-yard punts – including a long of 60 – and pinned the opponent inside the 20-yard line 13 times. For his efforts, Bleekrode repeated as a second-team All-Southern Conference punter.

In an abbreviated 2020 season, Bleekrode was 6-of-7 on field goals while going 16-of-18 on extra points. A second-team all-conference punter, Bleekrode averaged 43.6 yards on his 36 punts with 17 inside the opponent’s 20-yard line. He had five punts covering more than 50 yards, including a career-long 69-yard punt against Chattanooga. He was the Southern Conference Special Teams Player of the Week against Samford, when he made all three of his field goal attempts and averaged 47.2 yards on five punts.

Bleekrode played in three games during the 2019 season, making his lone PAT attempt of the year and placing two of his three punts inside the 20-yard line while averaging 48.0 yards per punt. Bleekrode played his prep ball for the Marist School in Atlanta.

Timmy was born on March 3, 2000, and he is the son of Arthur and Dr. Laura Bleekrode. He is pursuing his MBA at Nebraska.
