» Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll (Fall 2022; Spring 2021, 2022)

2022 (Redshirt Freshman)
Tamon Lynum played in three early-season games in the Husker secondary before suffering an injury that kept him out the rest of the year. He recorded  his only tackle of the season against No. 6 Oklahoma.

2021 (Redshirt)
Lynum played in two games in 2021. He made his season debut in the win over Fordham and recorded one tackle. He also played on special teams at Oklahoma. By playing in only two games, Lynum was able to use a redshirt for the 2021 season.

2020 (Covid Season)
Lynum earned immediate playing time as a true freshman, appearing on special teams in every game while also gaining experience at cornerback.

Before Nebraska (Evans HS)
Lynum joined the Huskers following a standout career as a defensive back for Evans High School in Orlando. Lynum had 44 tackles, 11 pass breakups, two interceptions and one forced fumble as a senior. A three-star recruit, Lynum had more than a dozen scholarship offers and chose Nebraska over Illinois, Kansas and Maryland, among others.

Personal
Tamon was born on April 23, 2002, and he is the son of Tommy Lynum and the late Shaquana Lynum. He is child, youth and family studies major.
