Shawn Hardy II did not play in a game in 2022.

2021 (Redshirt)
Hardy did not play in a game during the 2021 season, but he impressed during practice and was named Nebraska's Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year.

Before Nebraska (Camden County HS)
Hardy was one of three Georgia natives in Nebraska’s 2021 signing class. He came to Lincoln after amassing more than 2,000 career receiving yards for Camden County High School.

A 2020 Sports Illustrated All-America candidate, Hardy had 109 receptions in his prep career for 2,023 yards and 18 touchdowns, according to MaxPreps. He caught 29 passes for 446 yards and three touchdowns in only seven games as a senior. Hardy had 44 catches for 782 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior after catching 36 passes for 795 yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore.

Hardy was ranked among the top 80 wide receivers in the country by ESPN. He chose Nebraska after receiving several other prominent offers, including Kentucky, LSU and Ohio State.

Personal
Shawn was born on Nov. 6, 2002. He is the son of Shawn and Chantell Hardy. He is majoring in psychology. He has been active in community outreach, volunteering his time with the Nebraska Football Road Race, a Diversity and Inclusion Summit and the Be Better program.
