Mike Williams is in his second season as a Nebraska in 2025. He serves as the assistant running backs coach in 2025 after spending the 2024 season as a graduate assistant.
Williams' work with the Husker offense in 2025 saw Dante Dowdell score 12 rushing touchdowns, the most by a Husker in six seasons.
Williams returned to Nebraska after he was a wide receiver with the Cornhuskers in 2018 and 2019. In his first season at Nebraska, Williams played in 12 games with two starts and caught 12 passes for 122 yards. As a senior in 2019, he again played in 12 games and made one start, finishing the year with five receptions for 109 yards. In his career, Williams had 17 receptions for 231 yards.
Williams earned his degree in child, youth and family studies from Nebraska in 2020.
