2024 (Freshman)
Willis McGahee IV has played in every game as a true freshman and has posted three tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, 1.0 sack and one forced fumble. McGahee recorded two solo tackles in his Husker debut against UTEP. He had an eight-yard strip sack against Colorado that resulted in a Husker takeaway.

Willis McGahee IV was one of the top recruits in Florida as a standout linebacker in the Miami area. He was a two-time first-team all-state selection who was also a two-time first-team all-county pick. 

As a senior for Christopher Columbus High School, McGahee recorded 57 tackles with 16 sacks and nine tackles for loss. He had a nose for the ball with seven forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, three pass breakups and three defensive touchdowns. McGahee also added 19 quarterback hurries. Previously, McGahee played for Palmetto High School in Miami, where he was an all-state and all-county performer.

McGahee was regarded as a three-star prospect, and he was ranked among the nation’s top 35 outside linebackers by ESPN.
