Vincent Shavers Jr. Signing Day

Vincent Shavers Jr. was one of the top players in the Miami area. He totaled more than 170 tackles in his prep career with more than 30 tackles for loss and 20 sacks.
 
Shavers spent his senior season at Miami Central High School. According to MaxPreps, he had 46 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and seven sacks as a senior. 
 
As a junior, Shavers played for Monsignor Pace where he was a linebacker and running back. He totaled 56 tackles with 17 tackles for loss, eight sacks, 10 quarterback hurries, two pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and an interception. He also blocked one punt. As a sophomore, Shavers recorded 69 tackles and eight sacks for Monsignor Pace.
 
Shavers is regarded as a four-star prospect by Rivals. He was ranked as the No. 27 outside linebacker recruit by Rivals.
