2025 (Junior)
Vincent Genatone has played in every game this season as a member of Nebraska's special teams. He made an offseason switch from linebacker to running back. Genatone had the first carry of his career against Houston Christian, gaining one yard.
2024 (Sophomore)
Genatone played in all 13 games in 2024 as a key member of Nebraska's special teams. He recorded his lone tackle of the season with a solo stop on kickoff coverage against Wisconsin.
Before Nebraska (North Platte High School/Montana)
Genatone redshirted at Montana in 2022, before playing on special teams in 2023, when he logged one tackle. Genatone was part of a Griz team that reached the FCS national championship game.
Genatone was named the Omaha World-Herald’s 2022 Male Athlete of the Year. In that year, he recorded 136 tackles as a linebacker for North Platte, while winning the 220-pound Class A wrestling title and running a 10.5 100-meter dash.
On the gridiron, Genatone earned first-team All-Nebraska honors from the World-Herald and was a Super State pick by the Lincoln Journal Star. Among his tackle totals, were 14.5 tackles for loss as a senior. On offense, he rushed for 911 yards and 13 touchdowns in his senior season.
In addition to his wrestling state title as a senior, Genatone captured the 195-pound title as a junior, while lettering in track for the Bulldogs. Genatone had numerous other FCS scholarship offers and FBS walk-on opportunities, before selecting Montana out of high school.

Vincent is the son of Al and Kristin Genatone. Vincent is a management major.
