An in-season addition to the Nebraska roster, Trevon Kinchen redshirted in his first season as a Husker in 2023.

Kinchen came to Lincoln after putting up impressive numbers for Lovejoy High School in Georgia.
As a senior, Kinchen rushed for 1,669 yards with 14 touchdowns and was an honorable-mention Georgia 6A all-state selection. He averaged more than nine yards per carry and more than 170 rushing yards per game. Kinchen also caught seven passes for 178 yards and one touchdown, according to MaxPreps. As a junior, Kinchen averaged nearly eight yards per carry and scored two touchdowns.
Kinchen originally committed to Air Force before deciding to join the Huskers.
Trevon was born on May 23, 2005, and he is joined on Nebraska’s roster by his brother, Javon. Trevon is the son of Alexis and Giovanni Flowers, and he has two sisters, Gianni and Giavanni Flowers.
