Noah Bustard redshirted in his first season at Nebraska.
Before Nebraska (Elkhorn South HS)
Bustard was one of the top linebackers in the state before becoming a Cornhusker. He starred at Elkhorn South High School, helping the Storm to a 10-1 record as a senior.
Bustard was an honorable-mention all-state selection in his final season after compiling 48 tackles. He was adept at getting into the backfield, totaling 12.5 sacks, 11 quarterback hits and 37 quarterback hurries in his final season.
Bustard also competed in track and field for the Storm, qualifying for the state championships in the shot put in his lone season as a senior. He chose to walk on at Nebraska after receiving interest from several FCS programs.
