Nico Ottomanelli was a clutch place-kicker for Coach Brian Dunn at Northern Valley Regional High School at Old Tappan High School in New Jersey. As one of the top kicking prospects in the Northeast, Ottomanelli was 14-of-17 on field goals in his career, according to NJ.com.
As an all-district selection as a senior, Ottomanelli made 6-of-8 field goals with 48 extra points. He set a school record with a 50-yard field goal against Ramapo. Ottomanelli also handled kickoff and punting duties for the Golden Knights. In his junior season, Ottomanelli was 4-of-5 on field goals with a long of 46 yards. He made all four of his field goal attempts as a sophomore.
Kohl's Kicking ranked him as a 4.5-star prospect as a kicker and a four-star prospect as a punter.
