2023 (Redshirt Freshman)
Luke Lindenmeyer played in all 12 games with five starts as a redshirt freshman. He made his first career start at Minnesota when the Huskers opened with three tight ends. Lindenmeyer also started against Michigan, Illinois, Purdue and Iowa. His blocking helped Nebraska boast the Big Ten’s No. 2 rushing offense.

2022 (Redshirt)
Lindenmeyer played in one game while utilizing his redshirt season in 2022. He made his debut at tight end at No. 3 Michigan.

Before Nebraska (Papillion-La Vista HS)
Lindenmeyer joined Nebraska as a walk-on tight end from Papillion-La Vista High School. Lindenmeyer played on both sides of the ball for the Monarchs and was one of the state’s top tight ends. Lindenmeyer helped Coach Tim Williams’ team to a Class A playoff berth in 2021, catching 29 passes for 424 yards and six touchdowns. He added 24 tackles on defense and earned second-team all-metro and honorable-mention all-state honors from the Omaha World-Herald.

During his junior season, Lindenmeyer caught 35 passes for 444 yards and three touchdowns, while adding three sacks on defense. He earned honorable-mention all-metro honors in 2020. Lindenmeyer also saw action at tight end as a sophomore in 2019. Lindenmeyer also received interest from Columbia, Army, Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois. 

Personal
Luke was born on Sept. 2, 2003. He is the son of Vincent and Cynthia Lindenmeyer. Luke is majoring in finance and was an Academic All-Big Ten selection in 2023. He took part in Nebraska’s NoFilter Service Abroad trip to Panama in both 2023 and 2024. He has also been part of the N-Volved Leadership Group, Inner Circle and Lil Red Pen Pal program, and earned a Sam Foltz 27 Hero Leadership Award in 2024.
