Before Nebraska (Neumann Goretti HS)
Kahmir Prescott joined the Nebraska program from Philadelphia. Prescott played his senior season at Neumann Goretti High School, helping his team to a 12-2 record and a berth in the state playoffs. 

Prescott starred at Northeast High School in Philadelphia in 2022. He made 35 tackles and intercepted four passes with 208 return yards. He also had three tackles for loss, six breakups and four quarterback hurries. 

On the track, Prescott finished sixth in the 200 meters and eighth in the 100 meters in the PIAA District AAA Finals as a junior and was a member of the 4x100 meter relay team that placed sixth.
Prescott was a consensus top 30 player in the state of Pennsylvania and is ranked among the top 100 safeties in the nation by all recruiting outlets, including No. 67 at his position by ESPN.
