Jake Peters was a star lineman at Cedar Falls High School. He helped Coach Brad Remmert’s team to a pair of state playoff appearances.
As a senior Cedar Falls High finished with an 8-4 record and reached the quarterfinals of the Class 5A state playoffs. Peters was named to the Des Moines Register’s Class 5A first-team all-state squad for his dominant play on the Tigers’ offensive line. Peters was also a powerful force on the offensive line during his junior season, helping Cedar Falls High to an 8-3 record and a state playoff appearance.
Away from the football field, Peters qualified for state in the shot put as a junior and is a member of the Tiger basketball team.
Peters is a consensus choice as a top 15 player in the state of Iowa. He is ranked among the top 70 interior offensive linemen by ESPN.
