Izaac Dickey was a standout performer at Cross County High School, helping the Cougars to 29 victories in his final three seasons. Dickey was a three-year starter at fullback and finished his high school career with 1,778 rushing yards and 40 touchdowns while adding 203 tackles and 16 tackles for loss on defense.

As a senior, Dickey rushed for 899 yards and 19 touchdowns, including three 100-yard games. He also caught seven passes for 101 yards. He added 81 tackles, two tackles for loss and three fumble recoveries, helping Coach Matt Carroll’s team to a 10-1 record and a trip to the state quarterfinals. Dickey was a Class D-1 all-state pick by the Omaha World-Herald for his play.

As a junior, Dickey rushed for 846 yards and 21 touchdowns and recorded 68 tackles as an honorable-mention all-state pick. In his sophomore season, Dickey had 40 tackles for Cross County’s state runner-up team. 

Dickey is also a state champion powerlifter in the 199 to 220 pound weight class.
