Evan Taylor Signing Day

A talented athlete, Evan Taylor was a two-way player for Coach Duke Howell and Cuthbertson High School in North Carolina. He was a playmaker at cornerback and wide receiver.

Taylor's senior season was cut short due to a knee injury one week into the season. As a junior, he had one interception and one fumble recovery on defense according to MaxPreps, while catching 38 passes for 528 yards and seven touchdowns on offense. Taylor had four interceptions, six passes defended and one fumble recovery as a sophomore.

A three-star recruit, ESPN ranked Taylor among the top 50 cornerbacks in the country and among the top 16 recruits in North Carolina.
