2024 (Redshirt)
Braylen Prude has played in one game this season, making his Husker debut on special teams at Iowa.

Before Nebraska (Shadow Creek HS)
Prude was a defensive standout in Texas before coming to Nebraska. Prude was an under-the-radar recruit before emerging as a top prospect during the camp circuit prior to his senior season.

Prude helped Shadow Creek High School and Coach Brad Butler to a 9-2 record as a senior, when he was a first-team all-district selection as an outside linebacker. The Sharks held six opponents to seven or fewer points in Prude’s final season with three shutouts.

Previously, Prude played for Fort Bend High School in Missouri City, Texas, where he helped the Hurricanes to a 10-3 record and a pair of victories in the state tournament.

Prude was rated as a three-star prospect. He was ranked among the nation’s top 60 safeties by 247Sports.
