2022 (Sophomore)
Hohl did not play in a game in his first year at Nebraska in 2022.

Before Nebraska (Lincoln Southwest HS/Nebraska Wesleyan)
Hohl joined the Huskers after spending two seasons at Nebraska Wesleyan (2020-21), where he was the Prairie Wolves’ starting punter.

In 2021, Hohl averaged 40.0 yards on his 56 punts and was a first-team all-conference selection. He had eight 50-yard punts and placed 18 punts inside the 20-yard line. Hohl’s first season was postponed from the fall of 2020 until the spring of 2021 due to the pandemic. The Prairie Wolves played in only one game, and he punted eight times for 329 yards (41.1 average) in that contest with two 50-yard punts and one downed inside the opponent 20-yard line.

Hohl played his prep ball for Lincoln Southwest High School.

Jacob is the son of Erich and Rebecca Hohl, and he was born on Oct. 19, 2001. He is majoring in management. Hohl has volunteered his time with the Nebraska Football Road Race, the Huskers’ Day of Service and local Thanksgiving hospital visits.

Jacob's father, Erich, was a tight end at Nebraska in the early 1990s and was a senior on the Huskers' 1994 national championship team.
