2022 (Junior)
Stephon Wynn Jr. played extensively on the defensive line in every game in 2022, totaling a career-high 22 tackles. He had a pair of tackles against Northwestern in his Husker debut before recording four tackles against North Dakota. Wynn also had a pass breakup, a quarterback hurry and a fumble recovery that led to a Husker field goal against the Fighting Hawks. Wynn produced a career performance against Georgia Southern, posting nine tackles with a half tackle for loss. His nine tackles were a career high and were five more than his previous career high, while his half TFL was the first tackle for loss of his career. Wynn finished with four tackles against No. 6 Oklahoma. Wynn recorded two tackles at Purdue and had one stop against No. 17 Illinois.

Before Nebraska (IMG [Fla.] Academy/Alabama)
Wynn spent four years at Alabama before transferring to Nebraska. He played in 21 games with the Crimson Tide and was a two-year letterwinner, finishing with 16 tackles.

Wynn played in three games and recorded three tackles while utilizing his redshirt season in 2018. The next season, he appeared in nine games and had seven tackles. Wynn made one tackle in his two games during the 2020 season. In his final year at Alabama in 2021, Wynn finished with five tackles in seven games.

Wynn arrived at Alabama as a four-star recruit and the nation's No. 70 overall prospect. A 2018 Under Armour All-American, Wynn played his final season at IMG Academy in Florida after previously playing for T.L. Hannah High School in his home state of South Carolina. Wynn had 18 tackles including three tackles for loss at IMG. In his final two seasons at T.L. Hannah High School, Wynn totaled 150 tackles, 23 TFLs and 13.5 sacks.

Personal
Stephon was born on May 16, 2000, and he is the son of Stephon Wynn Sr. and Lanelle Wynn. He earned his degree in exercise science at Alabama and is taking graduate courses at Nebraska.
