2021
Malik Williams did not play in a game during the 2021 season.

Before Nebraska (Buford HS)
A standout in the secondary, Williams was one of two talented signees to sign with Nebraska from Buford High School in Georgia, along with Gabe Ervin Jr.

Williams played a key role in Buford winning the Class 6A state championship his senior season. As a junior, Williams helped Buford win the 2019 Class 5A state title before the Wolves moved up a class. Williams also competes in track and field for the Wolves. He set the school record in the long jump (23-2) after breaking the long-standing school record held by Tim Wansley, a former Georgia standout who went on to play in the NFL.

Williams had a more than a dozen scholarship offers from Power Five schools but chose Nebraska over Texas, Florida and Louisville. His older brother, LeAnthony, is a defensive back at Clemson.
