2021 (Redshirt)
Schaller did not play in a game during the 2021 season.

Before Nebraska (Waukee HS)
Schaller was a standout performer at Waukee High School in Iowa, just outside of Des Moines. Schaller’s play as a senior helped Waukee to a 7-3 record and a trip to the third round of the Class 4A state playoffs. Schaller was the leader of the Warriors’ offensive line that helped the offense rank fifth in the state in total yards per game. He also handled the snapping duties on the field goal team, which was one of the most efficient in school history. Schaller earned first-team Class 4A all-state honors from both the Des Moines Register and the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association. Schaller was also a starter for Waukee in 2019, when the Warriors posted a 7-5 record and reached the Class 4A state playoffs. Schaller was also a member of the Waukee wrestling team.
