Walker transferred to Nebraska after previously attending Coffeyville Community College (Kansas), Johnson County Community College (Kansas) and the University of Kansas. He graduated from Blue Valley Northwest high school in Overland Park, Kan., in 2015.
Personal
Jackson was born April 10, 1997, and is the son of Jon and Martha Walker. An accounting major, he earned his bachelor's degree from Nebraska in December 2019. Walker has volunteered his time with the Nebraska Football Road Race and local hospital visits and school outreach events.
