Collin Shefke added depth to the offensive line but did not appear in a game as a redshirt freshman.
2018 (Redshirt)
Shefke made the switch from high school defensive lineman to collegiate offensive lineman at Nebraska in 2018. He sat out the season as a redshirt.
Before Nebraska (Lincoln Southwest HS)
Shefke was a key member of the Lincoln Southwest High School defense as a junior and senior. He recorded 63 career tackles, including 16 solo stops, and eight career sacks. His five sacks as a senior combined for a total loss of 37 yards. As a junior, he produced three sacks for a combined loss of 12 yards.
Personal
Collin was born on Sept. 15, 1999, and he is the son of Scott and Monica Shefke. He is majoring in advertising and public relations. Shefke has volunteered with Husker Heroes, the Nebraska Football Road Race, the Malone Center and local hospital visits.
