Big 12 Commissioner's Fall Academic Honor Roll (2009)
2010 Outlook
Tyson Clark is a second-generation Cornhusker who will look to provide depth at wide receiver as a redshirt freshman in 2010. The 6-4, 205-pound Clark spent his first season in the Nebraska program as a redshirt, and made good use of the Nebraska strength program, adding 20 pounds of muscle. Clark is the son of former Husker All-American safety Bret Clark, who lettered at Nebraska from 1982 to 1984, before going on to a four-year professional career.
2009 (Redshirt)
A walk-on, Clark redshirted and worked with the scout team.
Before Nebraska (Lincoln East HS)
Clark was an honorable-mention all-state pick as a receiver by the Lincoln Journal Star in both 2007 and 2008, and was named to the 2008 all-city team. His play for Coach John Gingery also earned him honorable-mention all-state honors from the Omaha World-Herald and the Associated Press. Clark also lettered in baseball and basketball for the Spartans.
Personal
Clark is the son of Bret and Tammy Clark, and he was born on Sept. 28, 1990. Clark has not declared a major, but was named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Fall Academic Honor Roll.
