Colin Kanne Season 2009

Defensive line prospect Colin Kanne joins the Nebraska program from Millard West High School, where he helped the Wildcats to the 2008 Class A state title. Kanne recorded 43 tackles and a pair of sacks during his senior year, helping Coach Kirk Peterson’s team to a perfect 13-0 record. He capped his season with five tackles in the Wildcats’ 21-8 championship game victory over Millard South. Kanne was a second-team All-Metro selection by the Omaha World-Herald and earned honorable-mention Class A all-state honors. Kanne also helped Millard West to the state semifinals during his junior season in 2007.
