2007 (Redshirt Freshman)
Xavier Rucker added depth to a veteran Nebraska receiving corps in his second season as a Husker.

2006 (Redshirt)
Rucker sat out his first season as a redshirt and worked with the scout team.

Before Nebraska (Breck HS)
Rucker joined Nebraska after a standout prep career at Breck High School in Minneapolis. Rucker caught 61 passes for 1,029 yards as a junior, helping his team to an 8-3 season. He also grabbed nine touchdown catches while rushing for 218 yards and a score. He battled injuries as a senior, limiting him to 35 catches for 529 yards. Rucker also saw time at defensive back and returned kickoffs, including two for touchdowns in 2005. Rucker helped his team to the 2003 Minnesota Class AA state title.

Xaviers is the son of Evette Dorsey and Charles Rucker and was born on Feb. 17, 1988.
