As a senior in 2000, Rod Baker saw action in two games, recording a tackle against San Jose State to ove his career tackle total to six.   In 1999, Baker played in seven games for the Huskers as a backup to starters Tony Ortiz and Brian Shaw at Sam linebacker, and as a member of NU's second-team kickoff coverage and punt return teams.  He posted three tackles on the season, all against Iowa State.  Baker played in three games in 1998 after recording two tackles in three games as a redshirt freshman in 1997.
