John Murphy Season 1997

• Graduated in May, 2001 with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife
• Big 12 Commissioner's Fall Academic Honor Roll (2000)

Though he never caught a pass, tight end John Murphy saw action in 11 games through his Husker career.  A walk-on, Murphy saw limited action in three games in 1997, two in 1998, four in 1999, and two in 2000.  He redshirted in 1996.
