Career

Demond Finister joined the Huskers in 1995 as a walk-on wingback. He redshirted his first year in Lincoln and did not see playing time his redshirt freshman season in 1996. Finister appeared in three games as a sophomore, in 1997, and picked off a pass against Iowa State. He also appeared in six games as a junior in 1998. Following the 1998 season, Finister decided to pursue other interests. He left as a member of the 1995 and 1997 national championship teams.
