Chris Bassett Season 1997

As a fifth year senior, Bassett served as a backup at the rush ends position. 

1992-96: Bassett has served as a reserve the past four years after redshirting as a walk on in 1993. He played in five games in 1996, recorded one tackle and earned his first letter. 

At Tracy HS: Bassett played defensive end and tight end Tracy High School. His team ranked second in the state his senior season. Bassett earned all-area and all-conference honors and served as a team captain his senior season. He lettered four times in football. 

Personal: The son of Liz Ruppert and Don Bassett, Chris was born on Aug. 24, 1974. He majors in family science.
