Brandon Quindt earned his first letter in 1997. 

1997: Quindt moved up the depth chart to No. 2 rover behind sophomore starter Mike Brown. He played in seven games in 1997, recording three tackles (one solo) with one each vs. Baylor, Oklahoma, and Iowa State. Quindt saw action in the 1998 FedEx Orange Bowl, but did not have any tackles.

1996: A walk-on athlete, Quindt redshirted in 1996.

At Scottsbluff HS: Quindt quarterbacked Scottsbluff to the Class B semifinals in 1995. He was an all-region quarterback as a senior and the Wyoming-Nebraska Offensive Player-of-the-Year after totaling 1,600 passing and rushing yards. With a 3.5 GPA, Quindt was an honor roll student every semester.

Personal: The son of Willie and Vicki Quindt, Brandon was born on Oct. 1, 1977. He is a business administration major.
