Billy Diekmann Season 1997

1997: Diekmann played in two games as a reserve offensive tackle. 

1996: A walk-on athlete, Diekmann redshirted his first year at NU. 

At Norris HS: Diekmann played offensive and defensive tackle for Coach Ray Henning at Norris. He was a three-year starter on defense and earned first-team all-state honors on offense as a senior. He earned three football letters, one basketball letter, three golf letters (district champion as a senior shooting a 70) and four as a member of Show Choir. 

Personal: The son of Brad and Kelly Diekmann, Billy was born on March 19, 1978. He is majoring in communication studies.
