Career

Jeff Wells joined the Huskers in 1995 as a walk-on wingback. He redshirted his first year as a Husker and appeared in one game his redshirt-freshman season. Following the 1996 season, he decided to pursue other interests. Wells left Nebraska as a member of its 1995 national championship team.

Wells came to NU after playing previously at Lincoln Northeast High in Lincoln, Nebraska.
