Career

David Reddick joined the Huskers in 1994 after earning a scholarship at the wingback position. He redshirted his first year in Lincoln and appeared in two games his redshirt-freshman season. Following 1995, he decided to pursue other interests. Reddick left Nebraska as a member of its back-to-back national championship teams.

Before Nebraska (Woodrow Wilson High School)

As a receiver for Coach Darrell Wilson at Woodrow Wilson High, Reddick caught 15 passes for 196 yards in 1993. He also rushed 61 times for 606 yards and 15 touchdowns. He earned Philadelphia Inquirer Second-Team All-South Jersey honors. Reddick's high school, Wilson, is the prep school of Nebraska's Heisman Trophy winner Mike Rozier (1983). Reddick chose Nebraska over Temple, Minnesota and Tennessee.
