Career

Although he would not appear on the field the next three years, Morro stayed the course and would finish as a member on all three of Nebraska's 1990 national championship teams.

Before Nebraska (Middletown South High School)

Morro earned second-team all-state honors at Middletown South. He played cornerback, receiver and handled punts and kickoffs for Coach Robert Gennerelli. He helped lead his team to a state championship in 1993 and a No. 10 ranking in the nation. He averaged 40.8 yards per punt as a senior with five punts over 50 yards and seven inside the 10. He kicked 10 extra points and two field goals. He attended the same high school as Christian and Jason Peter (Jason played three years for Middletown South before graduating from Milford Academy).
