John Martin Season 1994

A fifth year senior, Martin will serve as one of Dwayne Harris' backups at left outside linebacker. He played with the Husker junior varsity in 1990 and recorded seven tackles (four solo). After redshirting in 1991, Martin served as a backup role at outside linebacker in 1992 and 1993. Last season Martin played in four games, but did not have any tackles.

At Neumann HS: Playing for Coach Tim Turman (Husker quarterback Matt Turman's father), at neumann, Martin earned al-state honors his juior and senior year. He was first or second on the team in tackles his last two years, and finished first in career stops and 10th in career rushing yards. he also lettered once in basketball and four times in track.

Personal: The son of Patrick and Beverly Martin, John was born Feb. 24, 1972. He majored in history.
