Career

After redshirting in 1993, Dennis Bailey continued with the Huskers for two more years before deciding to pursue other interests. He did not see any game action throughout his career.

1995 (Sophomore)

Bailey entered fall camp as the No. 3 free safety behind returning starter Tony Veland and redshirt freshman Tray Crayton. He did not see any game action.

1994 (Freshman)

Bailey did not see game action in 1994.

1993 (Redshirt)

Bailey redshirted his first year at Nebraska.

Before Nebraska (Beaumont High School)

Bailey graduated from Beaumont High where he played linebacker, tight end, fullback and defensive back as a prepster. He earned five letters in high school, two in football, two in basketball and one in wrestling.

The son of Gerald Bailey, Sr., and Sandra Reed, Denis was born on Nov. 12, 1972.
