Career

Adam Skota joined the Huskers in 1994 as a walk-on middle linebacker. He redshirted his first year in Lincoln and appeared in four games his redshirt-freshman season. Skota recorded four tackles (one solo) on the season and returned one interception for seven yards against Pacific. Following 1995, Skota decided to pursue other interests. He left Nebraska as a member of its back-to-back national championship teams.

Lincoln High High School

A top linebacker who was named all-city two years and Lincoln Journal-Star Super-State and All-State as a senior, Skoda played for the North in the 1993 Nebraska Shrine game. He was a key to Lincoln High's reaching the 1992 Class A finals in football. Also a track and basketball standout, Skoda was a member of the National Honor Society.

The son of Steve and Sharon Skoda, Adam was born on Nov. 24, 1974.
