1993 (Senior)
A three-time letterman at safety for the Huskers, Zeke Cisco played in six games for Big Eight champion Nebraska as a senior in 1993. The 5-11, 195-pounder from Monroe, Mich., recorded four total tackles, including one solo, while adding a pass breakup at free safety behind Troy Dumas and Mike Heins. Cisco helped the Big Red to an unbeaten regular season and a trip to the 1994 Federal Express Orange Bowl national championship game against Heisman Trophy winner Charlie Ward and Florida State.

In his career, Cisco played in 15 games for Nebraska and recorded 11 tackles.

1992 (Junior)
Cisco lettered as a free safety behind Tyrone Byrd and Troy Dumas for the Big Eight champion Huskers. Cisco played six games and recorded two unassisted tackles for a Big Red squad that earned a trip to the 1993 Federal Express Orange Bowl to face Florida State.

1991 (Sophomore)
Cisco recorded a career-high five tackles while playing strong safety in three games to earn his first varsity letter as a Husker.

1990 (Redshirt)
Cisco redshirted in his second season at Nebraska, while making the switch from free safety to strong safety ahead of the 1991 season.

1989 (Freshman)
A walk-on to the Husker program, Cisco was the starting free safety for Coach Shane Thorell’s JV team. Cisco ranked second among the JV defensive backs with 15 tackles, while adding one pass breakup over five games. He also averaged 11.3 yards on four punt returns.

Jefferson High School
Cisco earned three letters as a quarterback and defensive back for his father, Coach Marc Cisco, at Jefferson High School in Monroe, Mich. Zeke led his teams to 7-2, 7-3 and 8-2 records. A two-time all-league defensive back, he was also all-state and all-metro Detroit as a senior. A talented all-around athlete, Cisco lettered four times in baseball and three times in basketball.

Personal
The son of Marc and Donna Cisco, Zeke was born in Ann Arbor, Mich. He has one brother, Zach, and two sisters, Sheri and Jan. Zeke’s father played under Hall of Fame Coach Bob Devaney at Michigan State (1955-56), while his cousin Galen Cisco was a pitching coach for the World Champion Toronto Blue Jays. Zeke was a secondary natural sciences major who graduated in August of 1994. He was also a volunteer in the Teammates mentoring program.
