After a successful Nebraska career, Adam Treu was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft with the 72nd overall pick. He spend the next 10 years as one of the top long-snappers in the NFL for the Raiders (1997-2006), and helped Oakland to an AFC championship and an appearance in Super Bowl XXXVII. Treu was the Raiders' starting center in that game. He played in 155 games, starting 44 of those contests, before calling it a career.

1996 (Senior)

Treu helped Nebraska win back-to-back national championships as an offensive lineman in 1994 and 1995. A senior in 1996, Treu was one of six starters for the Huskers who originally came to NU as a walk-on. He was also one of three starters on the O-line that was a Lincoln native.

A graduate of Lincoln Pius X High School, the 6-foot-6, 305-pound Treu started at left tackle for the Huskers as a senior. He replaced another long-time NFL lineman, Chris Dishman, at that position. Treu also took over the long-snapping chores for departed NU All-American and long-time NFL center Aaron Graham.

As a senior, NU's offensive line led the Huskers to a No. 4 national ranking in scoring and a No. 5 ranking in rushing offense. Treu totaled 94 pancakes as a senior, averaging 7.8 'cakes per game, including a career-high 13 against Kansas State. He added 11 pancakes against Texas and 10 against Oklahoma. Treu played the 1997 Orange Bowl against Virginia Tech with degree in hand.

1995 (Junior)

As a junior in 1995, Treu saw extensive game action as the sixth man on NU's offensive line rotation and as a member of the PAT and field goal units. He played behind starter Eric Anderson at right tackle and helped the Huskers break a school record by not allowing a single sack on the season.

The 1995 Huskers also set school and Big Eight scoring records, while winning their 12th NCAA rushing title on their way to a second straight national championship. Treu saw extensive action in NU's Fiesta Bowl rout of Florida, helping the Huskers pile up an NCAA bowl-record 524 yards rushing.

1994 (Sophomore)

As a sophomore in 1994, Treu appeared in five games as a reserve right tackle and helped the Huskers earn their 11th NCAA rushing title on their way to a national championship. Treu earned a scholarship before the start of the season after originally joining NU as a walk-on.

Treu appeared in two games as a redshirt freshman.

1992 (Redshirt)

Lincoln Pius X High School

He also played in the Shrine Game. He helped Pius X to the Class B basketball state title in 1992, when he averaged 19 points and 14 rebounds per game. He was a Super Stater as a basketball player and an all-state pitcher on the Pius X baseball team.
