1993 (Senior)
Starting every game at left tackle, Lundberg helped the Cornhuskers to the Orange Bowl game in Miami, Florida. Nebraska average 38.3 points per game and 425 yards of total offense, just shy of the averages set in 1992. On fourth down conversions, Nebraska had a 73.3% success rate on 14 attempts showing Coach Osborne’s confidence in the NU offensive line. In the National Championship game against Florida State, the Husker’s averaged 5.6 yards per play and 389 yards of total offense to the Seminoles 333. His impressive senior season would draw the attention of NFL coaches, eventually ending up at the New Orleans Saints.

1992 (Junior)
With the help of Lundberg, Nebraska would record its fourth national rushing title in the past five years and 10th overall (eight under Osborne), with 328.2 yards per game. NU also ranked second in scoring at 38.8 and 11th overall in total offense with 438.2 yards per game and only allowed Nebraska QBs to be sacked nine times throughout the season. Lundberg started all 11 regular season games as well as the matchup against Florida State in the Orange Bowl. At 6-4, 300, Lundberg was a major force on the Offensive line.

1991 (Sophomore)
Nebraska won its ninth NCAA rushing title with 353.2 yards per game with the help of Lundberg. The Husker's also led the Big Eight and ranked third nationally in both total offense (506.45 yards per game) and total scoring offense (41.3 points per game). During the '91 season, NU also recorded its highest passing average (153.3 yards per game) since the 1976 season and quarterback Vince Ferragamo. Lundberg started the ’91 season listed as Nebraska’s alternate left tackle behind Erik Wiegert, but was moved into the starting lineup when Wiegert moved to guard. Lundberg started the last eight regular season games and the Orange Bowl.

1989
Lundberg was a scholarship recruit and started at Offensive right tackle on the junior varsity team led by Coach Shane Thorell. 

Before Nebraska (Wausa High School)
Lundberg was an all-class, all-state lineman for Coach Stan Hageman, despite playing eight-man football on a team that went 2-6. He led his team in total tackles with 160 during his senior season. He letter four times in football, basketball, and track. 

Personal
Lance was born Aug. 15, 1970 in Osmond, Neb., and majored in criminal justice. Lundberg graduated in December of 1993. He volunteered for the "Adopt-a-School" program in Fremont, Ne. Lundberg was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 7th round of the 1994 NFL draft.
