1992 (Junior)
Fletcher did not appear in a game as a Junior. He helped Nebraska to a Big Eight Conference championship and a trip to the 1993 Federal Express Orange Bowl against Florida State.
1991 (Sophomore)
Fletcher lettered as a reserve outside linebacker and special-teams player, appearing in seven regular-season games, plus the Orange Bowl vs. Miami. He finished the year with 11 tackles, including a six yard sack, a fumble recovery and a quarterback hurry.
1990 (Redshirt)
Fletcher redshirted his second year as a Husker.
1989 (Freshman)
After walking on, Fletcher earned the starting job at left outside linebacker for the junior varsity team. He finished the season with 13 tackles, including one for a six yard loss.
Oxford High School
A four-year letterwinner at both fullback and linebacker under coaches Steve Billeter and Jeff Shubert. He earned Class C-2 All-State honors as both a junior and senior in football and was a four-time letterwinner in football, basketball, and track. Fletcher also earned Class C-2 All-State recognition as a senior.
Personal
Greg is the son of Rolland and Sharon Fletcher. He had a near-perfect student, he had a 3.97 grade-point average in pre-veterinary medicine.
