1992 (Senior)
A two-time letterman, Brad Mundt helped Nebraska capture the Big Eight title while earning its second straight NCAA rushing title (328.2 ypg) in 1992. It was NU’s third rushing title in four seasons and the program’s 10th in NCAA history. Nebraska also ranked second nationally in scoring (38.8 ppg). Mundt was one of three former walk-ons at the top of the Nebraska depth chart at center joining Jim Scott and Terris Chorney in 1992. Scott started every game for the Big Red. The Huskers earned a trip to the 1993 Federal Express Orange Bowl to face Florida State.
1991 (Junior)
Mundt lettered as a reserve on an offensive line that powered Nebraska to the NCAA rushing title (353.2 ypg). He saw playing time against Colorado State, Missouri and Iowa State to help Nebraska to the Big Eight title and a trip to the 1992 Federal Express Orange Bowl against Miami.
1990 (Sophomore)
Mundt appeared in two games as a non-lettered reserve in 1990.
1989 (Redshirt)
After playing his first collegiate season at Nebraska-Omaha, Mundt sat out after transferring to Nebraska from UNO.
1988 (Freshman)
Mundt enrolled at Nebraska-Omaha as a scholarship football player and saw action on the junior varsity team as a freshman.
Norfolk High School
A three-year letterman as a center and defensive tackle for Coach Hal Kuck, Mundt earned all-state honors as a senior at Norfolk High School.
Personal
The son of Marlin and Gisela Mundt, Brad was born Sept. 10, 1970 in Tilden, Neb. He has two brothers, Mike and Matthew. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Nebraska as a business administration major, before earning his MBA from Purdue.
