1990 (Senior)
David Edeal played in all 11 games his senior season.  He helped Nebraska lead the Big Eight in three offensive categories- rushing (340.0 yards per game), total offense (444.36 yards per game) and scoring (37.5 points per game).  Edeal received GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-American and Academic All-Big Eight honors in his final year with the Huskers. 

1989 (Junior)
Edeal played in every game and made the first start of his career when Jake Young was held out of the Kansas game with a hip flexor. He helped Nebraska lead the Big Eight in three offensive categories- rushing (375.3 yards per game), total offense (513.3), and scoring (44.7 points per game). Edeal earned a 3.923 GPA in mechanical engineering and the highest grade-point average on the team. He received GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-District VII and honorable-mention Lee Jeans Academic All-Big Eight honors.

1988 (Sophomore)
As a sophomore, Edeal lettered as the alternate center behind Jake Young and Jeff Anderson. He saw action in seven regular-season games on an offensive line that led Nebraska to the NCAA rushing title at 382.3 yards a game.

1987 (Redshirt)
Edeal used his redshirt in 1987.

1986 (Freshman)
Edeal walked-on and served as the alternate center on that fall's 4-1-0 Husker freshman team backing up Jim Wanek.

Before Nebraska (Loomis HS)
Edeal was a four-year letterman in football at center, nose guard and defensive end. He was all-state as a senior year and twice all-conference. David lettered in basketball and track, and played on the state American Legion baseball championship team in 1983. He was also a Regents Scholarship winner.

Personal
David is the son of Russ and Kay Edeal, he has one brother and one sister. David was born on Oct. 16, 1967 in Holdrege, Nebraska. He was an agronomy major.
