1990 (Senior)
Terry Eyman played in each of Nebraska’s 10 regular-season games and the Florida Citrus Bowl as a senior offensive lineman in 1990. An alternate at right tackle behind Brian Boerboom, the 6-6, 265-pound Eyman missed much of fall camp and the season opener against Baylor with a viral infection. He returned to action to help the Cornhuskers rank second nationally in rushing offense (340.0 ypg) and sixth in scoring offense (37.5 ppg), while also leading the Big Eight in total offense (444.4 ypg).
A three-year letterman as a Husker, Eyman played in 26 career games on the O-line.
1989 (Junior)
Eyman played in all 11 regular-season games to help the Huskers claim the NCAA rushing title (375.3 ypg), while ranking second nationally in scoring offense (44.7 ppg) and third in total offense (513.3 ypg). He also earned a start for the Big Red O-line against Florida State in the Fiesta Bowl when All-Big Eight tackle Tom Punt was held out of the starting lineup for disciplinary reasons.
1988 (Sophomore)
Eyman earned his first varsity letter after playing in five games behind All-Big Eight tackle Bob Sledge and alternate Tom Punt. Eyman helped the Huskers win the NCAA rushing title (382.3 ypg), while ranking sixth in scoring offense (39.5 ppg) and seventh in total offense (477.9 ypg). He also helped the Big Red to the Big Eight championship and a trip to the 1989 Orange Bowl against Miami.
1987 (Redshirt)
Eyman redshirted in his second season as a Husker.
1986 (Freshman)
A walk-on from Omaha, Eyman played as an alternate at offensive right tackle behind future All-American Doug Glaser for the 4-1 Husker freshman team.
Omaha Bryan High School
Eyman lettered for just one season for Coach Tim Bond at Omaha Bryan. As a senior in 1985, Eyman was named the team’s most improved player and its best offensive lineman while earning honorable-mention all-metro accolades. He also lettered in wrestling and was an honor roll student. Eyman was a high school teammate of fellow Husker Ken Clark at Omaha Bryan.
