1987 (Junior)
Wiley was listed as Nebraska No. three weak-side linebacker. Wiley was also the back-up punter, during the spring game he stood out, averaging 46.2 yards per punt over five punts. Wiley helped the Blackshirts rank sixth nationally in scoring defense (12.1 ppg), eighth in total defense (264.7 ypg) and ninth in rushing defense (107.0 ypg). He helped the Big Red to a 10-2 overall record and a trip to the 1988 Fiesta Bowl against Florida State.
1986 (Sophomore)
Dante is a transfer from Pittsburgh becoming eligible at Nebraska. He earned a varsity letter as a linebacker, playing in ten out of eleven games. He helped the Huskers reach the 1987 Sugar Bowl, where they defeated LSU Tigers football 30-15. Nebraska finished the year among the nation’s elite, ranking second in rushing offense at 305.5 yards per game and third in scoring at 37.8 points per game.
1985 (Transfer Redshirt)
Wiley redshirted his first year at Nebraska after transferring from Pittsburgh.
1984 (Freshman- Pittsburgh)
Wiley originally signed with Pitt as a quarterback, lettering as a quarterback and as a defensive back. Dante was also a talented returner, returning 15 punts for 98 yards and four kickoff returns for 63 yards.

Dante was a computer science major. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Parris Wiley, born in Jeannette Pa.
