1986 (Senior)
Parker earned his third consecutive varsity letter as Nebraska's starting left guard. He helped lead the Huskers to the 1987 USF&G Sugar Bowl, where they defeated LSU, 30-15. Nebraska finished the season ranked second nationally in rushing offense, averaging 305.5 yards per game, and third in scoring with 37.8 points per contest.
1985 (Junior)
Serving as the alternate right guard and a part-time starter behind John McCormick, Parker established himself as one of the team's top all-around athletes. He helped Nebraska post a 9-3 record and earn a berth in the Sunkist Fiesta Bowl against Michigan. The Huskers averaged 472.5 total yards and 36.2 points per game during the season.
1984 (Sophomore)
Parker moved from tackle to guard during the 1984 season and earned significant playing time as an alternate. He received his first varsity letter as a sophomore while helping Nebraska finish 10-2 and defeat LSU, 28-10, in the Sugar Bowl. The Huskers averaged 427.5 yards of total offense and 32.6 points per game.
1983 (Freshman)
Parker served as a varsity reserve at right guard but did not earn a varsity letter.
1982 (Hardship Season)
Parker missed his true freshman season after suffering a knee injury during the Nebraska Shrine Game.
Bellevue East High School
A prep All-American under Coach Don James. He threw the discus more than 196 feet and captured the 1982 Nebraska state heavyweight wrestling championship.
Personal
Parker majored in business administration at Nebraska. He is the son of Willie and Ruby Parker and was born in Moses Lake, Washington.
