1984 (Senior)

Stuckey completed his senior season with 21 tackles, 6 unassisted. He also made the second-team all-conference team for his second year in row and graduated with a 3.86 GPA. Stuckey went on to attend Harvard Business School.

1983 (Junior)

As a junior, Stuckey led the Nebraska's down linemen in tackles with 46 (26 unassisted), and tied for the overall team lead in quarterback sacks with 5. His successful season earned him second-team All-Big Eight honors from the United Press International. Stuckey's top tackle game came against Kansas State with 10 tackles (four unassisted), including a sack for a loss of six yards. He also intercepted a pass vs. Colorado and returned it for three yards. His 3.70 grade-point average earned him his academic All-America and all-conference honors.

1982 (Sophomore)

During spring ball of Stuckey's sophomore year, he suffered a non-surgical knee injury that kept him out for almost all of spring practice. Two games into the season, the starting right tackle, Doug Herrmann, was injured and Stuckey started against Penn. State on Sept. 25. He continued on as a starter for the rest of the season. Stuckey finished the season with 37 tackles, 21 unassisted, and recovered one fumble. His top tackle game was seven tackles with four unassisted in a 37-10 win at Hawaii. Stuckey was one of seven Huskers on the Big Eight all-academic team.

1981 (Redshirt Freshman)

While practicing with the team as a redshirt freshman, Stuckey was able to gain muscle and bench pressed 245 pounds.

1980 (Freshman)

Stuckey played for the freshman team and had a successful season while team allowed just 207.8 yards of total offense per game.

Before Nebraska (Lexington HS)

Stuckey was all-state and all-conference in football for Coach Dennis Thorell. He also lettered in wrestling.

Personal

Rob is the son of Harold and Kathy Stuckey. He grew up in Lexington,NE and attended Lexington High school. Stuckey was a finance major at UNL.
