1983 (Senior)

Engebritson moved into the starting job at tight end in 1983 after the Huskers graduated their first three tight ends from 1982 and became a major contributor to the Husker's offensive explosion.  He caught 7 passes for 95 yards.  The best came of his career came against Penn State in the Kickoff Classic when he snagged 3 passes for for 28 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown (only TD of his career).  

1982 (Junior)

Engebritson lettered as a reserve his junior season snagging 1 catch for 21 yards. 

1981 (Sophomore)

As a sophomore, Engebritson lettered as a reserve for the Huskers, but did not have any receptions.

1980 (Redshirt Freshman)

Engebritson started at tight end for the 1980 freshmen team, catching five passes for 51 yards and a touchdown.  

1979 (Freshman)

As a walk-on in 1979, Engebritson chose to redshirt for the Huskers

At Hastings HS

At Hastings High, Engebritson was a standout player earning all-state honors.

He was born Sept. 18, 1960 in Mobridge, S.D. and he is the son of Clarence and Elaine Engebritson.
