1983 (Senior)
After suffering through a pair of injury-plagued years, Hermmann made it through his senior year virtually injury-free. Hermann alternated with Mike Keeler on the left side of the Huskers' defensive line. Hermmann led the Huskers in sack yardage with 31 yards on five sacks. On the season, Herrmann had 30 total tackles with 6 tackles for loss.  

1982 (Junior)
Hermann started the first two games at right tackle as a junior, but then suffered a knee injury in practice and missed four games after undergoing arthroscopic surgery. He finished up the season as the Huskers' "swing tackle", playing both the left and right side.  Hermmann finished the season with 9 tackles and 1 sack for 11 yards.  

1981 (Sophomore)
As a sophomore, Hermmann helped the Huskers with 8 total tackles and 3 sacks.  

1980 (Redshirt Freshman)
After being recruited by Nebraska as a fullback and tight end, Hermmann switched to defensive tackle and redshirted during the 1980 season.  

1979 (Freshman)
Hermmann saw action on the Huskers' freshman team at fullback and tight end, catching one pass for a 50-yard touchdown.  

At Custer HS
Hermmann earned All-State honors at Custer High School, in both football and basketball.  

Personal
Hermann was born Jan. 1, 1961, and he celebrated three-straight birthdays in Miami for the Orange Bowl. He is the son of Paul and Helen Herrmann.
